Refund addresses explained
Most successful orders never use a refund. When an exchange cannot finish, returned funds need a destination on the send network.
Same-network vs cross-chain
On same-network flows, your payout address may be reused automatically for refunds. For cross-chain swaps, enter a refund address on the send network before creating the order.
How to choose the address
Use a wallet you control on the deposit chain — for example a BTC address when sending Bitcoin, or a Tron address when sending TRC-20 USDT. Do not invent an address or reuse a deposit address from another service.
Accuracy matters
A wrong refund address can make an already rare failure path worse. Double-check like you would a payout address.
