Cake, Feather, and official Monero wallets
Your payout address should come from a wallet where you hold the seed. Exchange “Monero wallets” or custodial IOUs defeat the point of a privacy swap.
Cake Wallet
Mobile-friendly, supports Monero and other assets. Convenient for receiving XMR on the go. Back up your seed offline and verify the receive address on-device before pasting it into Anonymous Swap.
Feather Wallet
A focused desktop Monero wallet with a clear UI. Good for users who want Monero-only tooling without mobile complexity.
Official GUI / CLI
The Monero Project wallets are the reference implementations. Heavier to sync for newcomers, but widely audited and well documented. Use them if you want maximum alignment with upstream Monero software.
- Write down the seed once, offline
- Never paste your seed into a swap site
- Copy the primary address or a subaddress you control
