Swapping with MetaMask
MetaMask does not store Monero. Use it for the deposit side of an Anonymous Swap (ETH, ERC-20 USDT/USDC, and similar), and keep XMR in a dedicated Monero wallet.
Prepare MetaMask
Select the correct network (Ethereum mainnet for eth_eth / usdt_eth / usdc_eth). Confirm the token is the official contract your wallet already uses. Keep enough ETH for gas.
Create the order, then send
On Anonymous Swap, create the order with your XMR payout address. Copy the deposit address and amount into MetaMask’s send flow. Paste carefully and confirm the network badge matches the order.
After deposit
Track the order in your browser session. When the exchange completes, XMR arrives in the Monero wallet you specified — not in MetaMask.
